Ricky Smith, age 69 of Brookside Alabama entered his heavenly home on April 14, 2026

His proceeded in death by his father J.E. Smith; mother, Kay Smith, brother, Jeff, Smith, and niece Leslie Keedy.

He is survived by his sister, Debbie Keedy (Glenn); nieces and nephews Terri Love, Josh Keedy, Keith Smith, Patrick Smith, and Brandy, Gaddy and Aunt Sherri McCondichie as well as numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.

Ricky was a member of Bivens Chapel church . He was a testament to God's grace and the perfect example of why you never stop praying. There was rejoicing in heaven when he entered the gates. Matthew 5:12 rejoice and be glad for great is your reward in heaven.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Bivens Chapel Church at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial to follow at Bivens Chapel cemetery. Bro. Glenn Keedy and Bro. Levi Smith will be officiating the service.
