With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Jessie Davis, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was born December 31,1943, Robert grew up and lived in Graysville, Al where he was a coal miner at Bessie Mine. He loved fishing, making things and going to the races. He was preceded in death by his parents, Simpson Allen Thomas Davis and "Minnie" Mary Margaret Harris Davis. His siblings: Allen "Buddy", Adelle, Dorothy, Clarence, Mary, Christine, Grace, Annie and his wife Becky Sue Davis. He is survived by his sister Helen, his children Edward Davis, Becky Davis Holliday (Chance), Malena Dickey, Jeremy Guy (Tara), Jessie Davis (Kelsie), Jessica Davis (Nate). His grandchildren, Katelin Sublett (Austin), Emma Holliday, Garrett Gressett (Jessica), Caleb Guy, Brooklynn Guy, Will Reynolds, Lexi Guy, Lane Davison, & Harper Davison. His great grandson Wyatt Sublett. A memorial service will be held on May 13, 2025 at Bell Funeral Home, 2077 Pratt Hwy, Birmingham, AL; visitation will be 10-11am and service will follow at 11am, he will be laid to rest at Midway Cemetery.
