Robert Windom Hankins age 84 of Gardendale, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015. He was a Member of Hillview Baptist Church; Ret. Alabama State Trooper with 20 plus years of Service and was a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by Daughter, Donna Hankins. He is survived by his Devoted Wife of 54 years, Chestine Hankins; Daughter, Diana Hankins Mooney (Shawn); Grandson, Troy D. Mooney; also survived by several Nieces, Nephews and a Host of Friends. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mark Barber officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, November 16th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Bell Forestdale Chapel. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
