Rolen Henry "Pete" Burr age 86 of Brookside, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army, Former City Council Member and Three Term Mayor of Brookside. He is survived by his Devoted Wife of 66 years, Betty Burr; One Daughter, Gloria Jones; Two Sons, Ronald Burr (Cindy), Rolen "Bo" Burr (Sherry); Six Grandchildren, Lori Reynolds, Brad Jones, Stacy Douglas, Jennifer Burr, Zackery Burr, Eric Burr and Nine Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 12th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Bivens Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Guy Moore will be officiating. Visitation will be at Bell Forestdale Chapel on Sunday January 11th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
