Ronald (Sput) Burr age 68 of Brookside, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Rolen Burr.

He is survived by his Wife of fifty years, Cynthia Burr; Son, Eric (Leandra) Burr; Grandchildren, Isaac, Isaiah and Ian; His Mother, Betty Jean Burr; Sister, Gloria Jones; Brother, Rolen Burr (Sherry); Brother-in-law, Greg Kelton.

He was a devoted husband, having shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life. He found great joy in the simple pleasures—spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and making memories with those he loved most. Above all, he cherished his family. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took great pride in each of them. He will be remembered for his love, his quiet strength, and the special moments he shared with those closest to him.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m until 11:15 a.m. at Bell Forestdale Chapel.

Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 Noon at Bivens Chapel Cemetery on Saturday, March 28th.  Bro. Jason Dunlap will be officiating.
