Sherry Lynn Gooch, age 51 of Brookside was born September 22, 1967 and she went peacefully to be
with the Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
Sherry was born in Bessemer, Alabama and moved to Brookside at a very young
age. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Michael, her two sons
Brandon Gooch (Morgan), and Bradley Gooch, dad Roy Neilson, sister Misty Posey
(Shane), dad Steve Pickle (Connie), brother Steven "Man" Pickle (Monica), and
her three precious grandchildren, who referred to her as "Ne-Ne", Micah,
Maddox, & Marlie-Claire Gooch, and several nieces and nephews. She is
preceded in death by her mother Brenda Pickle, her mother-in-law Gail Gooch,
and her grandparents. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom,
grandmother, aunt, and friend, always thinking of others before herself. She will
be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Sherry fought long and hard for
five years, but lost her battle with kidney failure, but we are comforted knowing
she is now at peace and resting with our Lord and Savior.

Graveside services will take place at Biven's Chapel Cemetery in Brookside, Alabama, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:30 P.M.
