Sondra Marquerite Jones Deaton Davis Newbern was born September 25, 1942 and spent her last days in the care of Greenbriar at the Altamont and passed away on May 18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Denis & Odell Jones; Husband the love of her life Sam Davis; Brother-in-law, Tom Noles; Sister-in-law, Carol Jones;
and In-Laws, Morris & Lee Davis. She is survived by Scott Deaton (Son); Jennifer Carstens (Daughter) Spouse Ron Carstens; Amy Gordon (Daughter); Rachel Davis (Daughter); Joshua Deaton (Grandson)  Spouse January and children, Marlie Rain and Beau Rivers; Suzanna Deaton (Granddaughter) (Zach); Kim Woods (Granddaughter) (Gatlin); Abby Evans (Granddaughter) and Spouse
Tony and children, Gwendolyn, Bella and one on the way;  Rory Carstens (Granddaughter); Zander Gordon (Grandson); Paula Noles (Sister); Michael Jones (Brother); Leathea Gray (Mike); sister-in-law,  Marcia Carol Lance (Johnny). And many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 11:30 a.m. at Freewill Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday at Bell Forestdale Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
