Stephen Majerik, 85 died March 30, 2014. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He was retired from U.S. Steel. Survivors include his children: Marilyn Majerik, Joyce (Larry) Shiflett, Lisa McCown, Stephen G. (Lisa) Majerik and Eddie (Milissa) Majerik. Grandchildren: Brandi (Brent) Marcrum, Casey (Keith) Waites; Roger (Miranda), Michael (Allison), and Tommy (Kristie) Shiflett, Meghan (Cade Collum) McCown, Jeremy (Amanda), James (Cierra), Christopher, Sarah and Joshua Majerik, Candie (Ryan) Humber. Great grandchildren: Blaine and Braegan Marcrum, Manny Waites, Emma, Molly, Jacob and Walker Shiflett, Jacob, Jackson, Kohen and Charlie Majerik. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Church in Wylam followed by a funeral mass at 12:00. Father Vernon Huguley officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Ensley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jimmie Hale Mission, P.O. Box 10472, Birmingham, AL 35202.
