Mrs. Velma Griffin, Age 78, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Monday February 11, 2019.

Mrs. Griffin is preceded in death by her Parents, John Thomas & Ruth Haywood, brother, George W. (Buddy) Haywood, and her grandson, Tyler James Dixon.

She is survived by her husband, Michel Griffin, of Birmingham, AL, Son, Michael D. Griffin (Amanda), of Tuscaloosa, AL, Daughter, Connie Thompson (Billy Joe), of Adamsville, AL, grandsons, Dennis Griffin, and Zachary Dixon, granddaughters, Elizabeth Griffin, Sheri Powers, and Jana Jameson, great grandson, Silas Powers, and great granddaughters, Angel Jameson, and Cheyenne Powers.

A memorial service will announced at a later date and time.
