Mrs.Vivian Crumley Usher went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of September 1, 2013. She has slipped her surly bonds of life to join her loving husband George. She was born December 21,1929 in MacDonald Chapel, AL to Willis and Irene Crumley. She lived in MacDonald Chapel and Minor during her childhood years. She married the love of her life George Nowles Usher on Sept 21, 1948. Together they had 2 children George Willis and Mary Denise. They built a home in Sandusky in 1961. They were members of the Sandusky United Methodist Church and later moved to Forestdale United Methodist Church. She lost the love of her life on February 3, 2003 shortly after their 54th anniversary. She later moved to FL to be closer to her son, grandson and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of the hearts she touched in her life.
She was preceeded in death by her parents Willis and Irene Crumley, her husband George, brother Willard who gave his life for his country during WWII and her sister Margaret. She is survived by her stepmother Evelyn Usher of Chattanooga, TN, sister Doris (Marion) Cruce of Gardendale AL, her daughter Denise Usher of Warrior, AL. Her son George Willis (Janell) Usher of DeFuniak Springs, FL. Her grandson Clint (Adrienne) Usher of Overland Park, KS. Her grandson Wesley (Jennifer) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, her grandson Andrew (Jennifer) of Atlanta GA, great grandchildren Justin Usher, Griffin Usher, Graysen Usher, Hampton Usher, Autumn Roberts, Caden Roberts, and Jack Roberts. She also had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Bell Funeral Home on Wednesday Sept 4th at 11 am until 1pm with the service immediately following. Interment following at Crestview Memorial Gardens.
