Walter Eugene Cauble, known to many as Walter E. Cauble, passed away on August 27, 2026, at UAB Hospital. He was born on March 11, 1941, and lived a long life marked by devotion to his family and the enduring connections he shared with those closest to him.

Walter was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hariett Cauble, as well as by his father, William Cauble, and his mother, Laura Cauble. Their memory remained an important part of the life and family he cherished.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephane Byars of Gardendale; his granddaughter, Brooke Booth and her husband, Justin, of Mt. Olive; his grandson, Adam Byars of Yokosuka, Japan; and his great-grandsons, Wade Booth and Jett Booth of Mt. Olive. He is also survived by his brothers, Arthur Cauble and Curtis Cauble, both of Moody. The love of his family stands as a lasting tribute to his life, and his memory will continue to be carried forward by each of them.

A graveside service will be held on September 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Village Falls Cemetery, 75 Bayview Drive, Mulga, Alabama 35005.

Walter will be remembered with love and gratitude by his family and by all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will remain treasured in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
