William Donald Franklin, Mar. 7, 1930 – Aug. 5, 2019

Donald slipped peacefully into the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus, on August 5, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his Sister, Barbara Moon and Parents, William M. and Gladys Franklin.  He is survived by his Wife of 53 years, Saundra Reese Franklin; Son, William Donald Franklin, Jr.; Two Granddaughters and Seven Great Grandchildren.  Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8th at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.  Rev. Herman Pair will be officiating.  Visitation will be on Thursday, One Hour Prior to Service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Sandusky First Baptist Church, 1125 Haven Drive, Birmingham, Al.  35214.
